Last year I missed the High Desert Classic, since we didn't know jack about the summer events in Central Oregon. So of course I was there yesterday morning to see it start up. I had Laker with me since it was going to be a quiet day at the show and a good time for him to get used to all the action of fast moving, high jumping horses. We watched two of the class 6 sections and saw some amazing jumpers, we missed the run away horse to apparently took a tour of the neighboring land. Needless to say Laker was too busy with his new lady friends to be bothered much by the horses.
Although as we headed home through the barns he did find one four legged friend in Arthur who didn't seen to mind much that Laker was sticking his tongue up his nostrils. Yummy horse snot...the true way to a pup's heart.
