Wasn't there a slightly suspenseful drama of the same title? Apparently my lack of recent posts have left my one fan a little down in the dumps. Even though I spoke to her yesterday I doubt the Internet would care to hear that over the past few days I have done the following:
Had new carpeting installed in the living room and our bedroom. While we'd rather just have hard wood Noah does enjoy the soft padded floor on the rare occasion he actually sleeps on it.
Had the carpets cleaned in the other two carpeted rooms. Moving all the furniture on my own since Alex was conveniently out of town for the weekend.
Attending a high school football game. Eventually this will earn it's own post. It was that much fun.
Hosted two dinners, I cooked the same thing both times. It's fool-proof and everyone seemed to like it. Now they all know what a crap hostess I am. Oh well.
Co-hosted a baby shower for Beth.
Hmm..that's about how my weekend went and notice Alex was gone and I didn't even cry about it not one single tear.
The End
I can't believe you cooked the same thing for both dinners! You are a crappy host!
Just kidding. The baked ziti was DELISH. You can make it for me anytime.
I do confess though - I recycled the caramel sauce I brought over that night. I had made it a week ago for a flourless chocolate cake when we had people over. Had leftovers so I thought I would bring it down to make the pudding/brownie dessert more gooey.
mmmm.... caramel sauce. I love making fresh caramel sauce - it's so fun burning the sugar. I just have a hard time using it all up!
